LogoSTAR 200 offers users a simple, affordable way to key logos over incoming video.The unit stores up to 32 bitmap images, and each logo has it own palette of 256 colors selected from a possible 65,000 colors. The LogoStar 200 is ideal for: * on-air standby slides * channel identification * auto display of emergency messages * copyright warnings * display of any frequently used imageThe LogoSTAR stores and displays 32 small logos – each up to 250x120 pixels; or one full-screen logo up to 640x480 and 16 small logos; or two full-screen logos. Every logo maintains its own position, color and key level attributes.Logos are created using your favorite graphics software. The supplied PC/Windows software accepts most standard graphic file formats and converts these files into the LogoSTAR standard bitmap format. An LCD panel and keypad provide local system status information and user control.Logos can be positioned anywhere on the screen from the LogoSTAR 200 front panel or with the system’s PD software. An economy version is also available that connects to the LogoSTAR over a LAN or modem. Additionally, it supports a NTSC preview, and has 16 GPI triggers enabling external control from automation systems. For specialty applications, LogoSTAR 200 has RS-232 control for external data control and management.Besides the basic function of inserting logos or “bugs” on NTSC programming, LogoSTAR 200 comes standard with time and date display support.
