Matco MA-1000

The MA-1000 Video Servers offer the lowest price of entry of any of our video server products. With models with from 1 to 3 MPEG-2 channels, and from 1 to 3 media drives of either 120GB or 250GB capacity.


The MA-1000 Series Video Servers include control software to manage the inventory of elements on the server, as well as to define and execute sequences from an automation control product, such as the MA-210, or from the optional internal automation products. The MA-1000 Series also provides integrated control of serially controlled ingest sources.

Automation
The MA-1000 Series Video Servers offer optional internal automation. This allows any MA-1000 to operate in a fully automated mode, as well as being able to control one or two external devices or systems.

Compression
All transmission oriented servers use compression of one form or another; the MA-1000 Series use industry-standard MPEG-2. Compression level may be selected during capture, on a cut by cut basis.
