The Hamlet Adept is a multiformat capable including DV entry-level, On Screen Display (OSD) video measuring set. This, the first of its kind in the world, is part of a unique range of units.The Adept provides SDI; DV (Firewire); analog component; YC (S-video); and composite 625 and 525 multi-standard measurement and monitoring capability, including line select, bow tie and gamut indication.With new proprietary processing and filtering the Adept produces familiar high quality composite trace displays which may be transmitted to any composite or YCmonitor. Operator display configuration recall is provided with a 10 mode store and recall facility. Easy instant access to all operating functions ensure a very short operator learning curve.The Adept is a low power, compact replacement for CRT measuring units in all pre and post production areas. Powered by mains or 12vdc it may be used for transportable environmentsOnly 1U high and half rack width it can be rack mounted or used stand alone. Primarily analog the unit can have DV (Firewire) and SDI options included to complete its flexibility.
