Bright Eye 40

BrightEye 40 is a reclocking serial digital video distribution amplifier with four outputs. The SDI input will automatically equalize up to 300 meters (1000 feet) of digital cable. Following equalization, the 270 Mb/s SDI input signal is reclocked before being delivered to four simultaneous SDI outputs. When using an analog to digital video converter and multiple outputs are needed, BrightEye 40 can be used to distribute and provide those additional output signals. BrightEye 40 works well with video converters BrightEye 3 and BrightEye 25. BrightEye 40 is also useful in conjunction with the BrightEye 54 sync pulse generator and test signal generator for distributing digital test signals. This is a simple device with no USB port and no interface to BrightEye PC. Front panel indicators show the presence of an input signal and power.
