Key West Technology
InfoZone from Keywest Technology offers anyone with the overall responsibility for digital signage the tools they need to control, schedule and content distribute content to remote displays on the digital signage network.
Ideally suited for use in retail stores, industry, government and educational settings, Infozone consists of a complete set of software and hardware tools, as well as a robust IP distribution service. With InfoZone, users create playlists of audio, video, graphic and animation events, schedule them for playback on individual panels in the digital signage network and monitor playback assuring 100 percent playback.
InfoZone uses a network-appliance architecture. InfoZone relies on the Keywest Technology MediaXtreme media server or MediaXtreme Media POD at each digital media sign to serve as presentation players. This approach minimizes overall bandwidth requirement because once content is distributed via the Internet it resides locally.
Control & Scheduling
With InfoZone’s easy-to-use interface software, users create playlists, schedule event playback and control what goes on their digital signage network.
With the playlist function, users:
* import presentation elements, such as MPEG video clips, text crawls, graphics, like static and animated logos, and sound, including music and dialog, onto a clipboard * drag and drop content elements onto individual timelines * trim timelines * move one element’s timeline in relationship to anothers * insert and delete timelines for elements |
Scheduling InfoZone playback is done through the interface software via an interface with Microsoft Excel software. Playback can be scheduled for a single day or as long as 20 years. Schedules can be set globally for all digital signage sites or customized for individual displays. When users add or delete items from their playback list, the schedule automatically ripples, or accommodates, the change.Once the schedule is created, users upload it to the InfoZone central server that provides data management, zoning logistics, data monitoring and feedback.
