The DVM-2000 (opt K) is a 20 channel high-density ASI Decoder with the capability of handling Standard Definition (SD) DTV signals, MP@ML, MP@LL, and SP@ML 4:2:0 MPEG2 video specifications.This unit operates as multiple SD Decoders that are hot-pluggable and is housed in a 3RU chassis with dual Power Supplies for 1+1 redundancy. Users may purchase the decoder cards and plug in additional cards for future service growth. The chassis can hold a maximum of 20 SD Decoder cards.With an ASI input card, the unit takes in the ASI signal in each of the decoder cards as Primary signals and an MPTS ASI signal as Back-up signals. Upon detection of failure on Primary, the back-up program is automatically selected and decoded. The decoded outputs include NTSC (PAL/PAL-M Option) video, Analog Audio L & R, and switched ASI (CBR) output on each of the 20 decoder cards.Applications
