This series of solid-state high-power television transmitters constitutes the new generation of equipment produced by Screen Service. The excellent efficiency and reduced size characterizing these transmitters permit the use of high output powers even in cramped spaces. Each single amplifier works autonomously and is characterized by its own internal power supply, cooling fans with variable speeds for different temperatures, and protection circuit. This facilitates maintenance operations by eliminating any need for spare external power supplies.The "double-driver" option helps obtain a high level of redundancy and the practical DUAL-MODE function permits the transmission of both digital and analogue signals, guaranteeing the efficiency of this technological investment. All functions and operating parameters of the equipment are run by a microprocessor and can be checked by means of a set of multifunction displays or by means of analogue and digital interfaces located on the rear panels of each individual stage.
